The Center for Dewey Studies has published three collections of material with the InteLex Past Masters service: The Collected Works of John Dewey 1882-1953 (Electronic Edition), The Correspondence of John Dewey, 1858-2011 (Comprehensive Edition), and The Class Lectures of John Dewey. These materials are available for institutional purchase for a one-time fee, and they are available for individuals as an annual subscription service called John Dewey Online.
John Dewey Online
Under the current contract between InteLex and the Center for Dewey Studies, the John Dewey collections are offered as an annual subscription package for individuals. This subscription covers all three collections and any future updates. Current prices are:
- Standard subscription: $120/year
- Discounted student subscription: $60/year

Institutional Pricing
Past Masters publications are offered to institutions for a one-time free granting perpetual access. The current prices for the collections are:
- Collected Works: $4,250
- Correspondence: $4,000
- Class Lectures: $2,000
Major upgrades may constitute an additional fee. InteLex often offers discounted fees when multiple collections are or have been purchased by an institution. They also will offer limited trial periods for institutions considering purchasing the collections. See below for additional discounts based on country of current residence. Discounts for Low and Middle Income Countries
Thanks to a new agreement between InteLex and the Center for Dewey Studies, the publisher will offer discounts to both institutions and individual subscriptions based on current World Bank classification of countries as low income, low-middle income, and upper-middle income, as follows:
- Low Income: 90% discount
- Low-middle Income: 70% discount
- Upper-middle Income: 50% discount
These discounts do combine with other discounts, e.g., students subscribing to John Dewey Online from an upper-middle-income nations would pay $30/year for access. Please contact InteLex for further information.
